| Ellen Elizabeth Hunter at Two Sisters Bookery 2-4pm |
| On Saturday, March 13th, 2:00-4:00PM Mirth and Murder will be the order of the day. Sounds "oxymoronic," but that's just what Ellen Elizabeth Hunter's murder mysteries deliver. Ellen will be in the bookstore on Saturday, March 13, from 2-4 PM discussing her atest book, Murder at the Bellamy Mansion and signing books. All of her other titles will be also be available. In addition, she will be sharing some exciting previews of the newest mystery she is currently working on, Murder under the Mistletoe, which should be out in the fall in time for Christmas giving. Homemade refreshments. |

| Mad Hatter's Tea Party - 9:30-10:30am Win Tickets! |
| Children of all ages are invited to a MAD HATTER'S TEA PARTY from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Saturday March 20th, in celebration of the recent release of the movie Alice in Wonderland. Author and storyteller Brooks Preik will be reading selections from the book and showing several different versions that are available for purchase at the bookstore. Children are encouraged to come in costume and a prize will be given for the best costume. Cinnamon tea and homemade cookies will be served. A pair of free tickets to the movie and a beautiful, newly illustrated version of Alice in Wonderland will be among the door prizes. Reservations are recommended because space is limited. | Karen Spears Zacharias Book Signing 2-4pm |
| KAREN SPEARS ZACHARIAS has been drawing enthusiastic crowds on her latest book tour. She is on the program at Two Sisters Bookery Friday, March 26th, from 2-4 PM with a discussion of the MADCAP, but nonetheless serious, stories in her newest book with the unlikely title: WILL JESUS BUY ME A DOUBLEWIDE? ('Cause I Need More Room for a Plasma TV) She will also be signing copies of the book. And as always, delicious homemade goodies will be served.
Karen Spears Zacharias had her first kiss in a trailer, smoked her first and last cigarette in a trailer, asked Jesus into her heart on bended knee in a trailer, fell madly in love in a trailer (a couple of different times), and gave birth to her firstborn child in a trailer. She is a former crime beat reporter, wife, mom, Tennessee Volunteer, Georgia Peach, Beaver graduate of Oregon State University, sister in faith, water moccasin bite survivor and 25th Infantry Gold Star daughter. Her commentary has been featured in the New York Times, Newsweek, and National Public Radio and the Washington Post. |
